City DPRD, requested the concept of arrangement of Muara Angke Port to be put in the 2018-2022 mid-term regional development plan (RPJMD).

"We ask for the concept of structuring and development that we have projected into the RPJMD for five years," disclosed Ferrial Sofyan, Chairman of Pansus for Muara Angke Port Arrangement, City DPRD, Thursday (12/21).
Muara Angke Port Arrangement Proposed with TOD ConceptBased on the results of discussions with various parties and working visits to some areas, he explained, his party has determined some points. Among other things are making two international ports in Muara Angke.
The port in question is each fish port belongs to City Maritime, Agriculture and Food Security Dept., as well as the ferry port of people and goods managed by City Transportation Dept.
"So this is at once to help people living in Seribu Islands and support tourism towards the region," he stated.
Ferrial also expressed the DPRD's commitment to provide safe and comfortable sea transportation at Muara Angke Port.
"For the big plan of this arrangement will be pushed into the 2018-2022 RPJMD," he said.
